Laura J. Huffman
Laura Huffman (she/her) has served the public for more than 25 years in a range of public—and private-sector roles—all focused on building stronger and economically healthier communities. Most recently, she served as President and CEO of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, leading one of the nation’s fastest-growing communities through a global pandemic and the largest economic expansion in its modern history.
Steven Pedigo
Steven Pedigo (he/him) is an educator and thought leader as well as an expert in economic development. Steven advises city, university, private-sector, and nonprofit leaders who want to make their communities and institutions more creative, innovative, and inclusive. Over the past two decades he has crafted economic development strategies for such far-flung cities as New York, Jerusalem, Vancouver, Denver, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Brisbane, the Yukon, Tulsa, Austin, Portland, Newark, San Diego-Tijuana, Miami, Sao Paulo, Monterrey, and Mexico City, among many others, and worked with a wide variety of corporate clients, including BMW, Converse, Starwood Hotels, Philips, Cirque du Soleil, Audi, Pinewood Studios, Zappos, EDENS, and Kraft.
